The Flying Bull Academy School Council visit the Lord Mayor's Parlour

Before the Easter holidays, the School Council from The Flying Bull Academy visited the Lord Mayor’s Parlour in Portsmouth. They had been invited by the Lord Mayor to tour the council chambers. They were looking forward to seeing the council chamber itself but unfortunately, it was being used for an important meeting. They did, however, get to see the Lord Mayor’s Parlour and the regalia used at civic functions.

Fernhurst Primary School becomes musical

Fernhurst Primary School started the term with three of their musicians going to Midhurst Rother College for a locality Orchestra Day, where they prepared three pieces which they will perform at MRC’s Spring concert in mid March.

Hot on the heels was a trip for some school musician’s to the children’s concert at Chichester Festival Concert. Here they listened to an orchestra and learnt about the different instruments, and one of them even got to conduct the orchestra. An excellent afternoon and the children behaved brilliantly.
