Leadership in the University of Chichester Academy Trust

The University of Chichester Academy Trust continues to go from strength to strength following its successful Ofsted Review and ongoing improvements being made in its schools.  Ofsted inspectors have noted the strength of leadership at all levels throughout the Trust, from Trustees through to middle leaders in the academies who all play their part in driving improvements and innovative practice.

Academy Trust headteacher invited to speak at the Nelson Mandela Centenary Conference

Mr Carl McCarthy, headteacher of Frogmore Junior School was invited to speak at the Nelson Mandela Centenary Conference on the 5th September 2018. The conference was part of a series of events taking place this year to mark the 100th anniversary of Mandela’s birth. Mr McCarthy said, ‘It was a privilege to be able to speak at the event.  Mandela’s life reached out to so many in such profound ways.  To speak about how we are trying to follow in his footsteps - to inspire the next generation through the knowledge, skills and values that we teach - was a real honour.'

The Trust welcome Bordon Junior School to the family

The Academy Trust are delighted to welcome Bordon Junior School in to the Trust family. Bordon Junior School is a 2 form entry school for 7-11 year olds located in Whitehill and Bordon. The town is undergoing an exciting period of development as it is transformed into a prosperous green town. The school who will be situated next to our Mill Chase Academy Secondary School has a key role to play, inspiring and educating our pupils so they can make the most of every opportunity.
