Trustwide Conference: Mental Wealth

On the 8th January 2018 the Trust held a conference for 550 Trust staff on the University Bishop Otter Campus. The focus of the day was mental wealth.

The conference was organised following requests from Trust headteachers to enable staff to visit the University campus and to meet each other as well as providing a day focused on wellbeing. Feedback from the conference indicates that many were reflecting on ways to improve their own personal wellbeing as well as taking back ideas for working with children in your care.

Mill Chase Academy New School Site

Hoarding Design Project

Mill Chase Academy will be rebuilt and the construction company is now on the new site preparing the ground for the building which will take place over the next 18 months with an expectation of the new building opening to students in September 2019. The hoardings are now up around the new site and provide a wonderful opportunity for some joint work between the fine arts students at the University and Mill Chase students.
