Mill Chase Academy and Bordon Junior School read together

A group of our Year 7s and 8s at Mill Chase Academy enjoyed an afternoon reading this term with Year 4s and 5s from Bordon Junior School. Mrs Carter joined them on a  pleasant walk down to Bordon Library where all the children were welcomed by the librarian and given the opportunity to discuss and read books together.

It was the first of several scheduled shared visits to Bordon Library. The aim of the group is to strengthen ties with the younger readers in the local community, to encourage book-talk, and to promote a love of reading in all its many forms.
